Recently, there's been a lot written about virtualization. Ever since Steve Jobs announced the move to Intel, there's been huge flurries of excitement as commercial virtualization products like VMWare and Parallels and open-source products like VirtualBox improved their offerings.

Activities like these makes me wonder if GNU/Linux is indeed ready for the "primetime" because everything a typical person would need is already present in a first-time installation of GNU/Linux (Ubuntu for instance).

Yet another day...

I am now awake for almost 24 hours. Most of the time was spent with my beloved daughter and this laptop. I spent a good portion of my working day updating to a new release of Ubuntu Linux. This one is still in "Beta" phase, but i could not wait more.
