For one man, no good deed went unpunished after he was mugged while stopping to help a female motorist. The Washtenaw County sheriff's department told The Ann Arbor News and the Detroit Free Press the man stopped his car around 2:30 a.m. Sunday. While attempting to remove a spare tire from the trunk of the distressed vehicle, a man hit him over the head with a bottle.

Police: Good Samaritan beheaded in south Fla.

Authorities in south Florida say a homeless man beheaded a good Samaritan who had given him a place to stay. Lee County Sheriff's deputies went to 70-year-old Charles Rogers' apartment Thursday and found his body still in his wheelchair. His head had been placed near the front door.
