Though the island’s behind-the-scenes leading man, Jacob, is enough of a riddle to a top a “Lost” mystery manifest on his own, his oft mentioned and yet-to-be-revealed list is an even bigger head-scratcher. What little we know about the list hints at a creepier version of Santa’s naughty and nice run-down. In season three, various Others revealed that Locke was “too angry” to make the cut, Sayid was too “weak and frightened” for it, and for whatever reasons, both Kate and Jack lacked list material. As for who made the grade, those beachside survivors first harvested by the Others are some of the likeliest listies, but who else and why is purely the stuff of guesswork.
