Man, hackers suck. Some 12-year-old managed to get into the live feed that Macrumors.com had up from the Macworld Keynote this afternoon. Anyone reading the feed saw a bit of information about iPhoto and then suddenly "OMG STEVE JOBS JUST DIED!"

What is your software of choice for managing your workflow and image adjustments?
This question is posed to the photographers (pros, semi-pro, hobbyists, etc).
Steve Jobs Thinks iPhoto is Web 2.0?! Idiot…Source: Chris Pirillo
Okay, I have copies of both iLife '08 and iWork '08 installed (thanks to Lordkat for picking them up so that we'd be ready for their usage at Gnomedex in a few days).

Apple introduced the iPhone today, and the 'net is abuzz with talk of its many cool features. There are a few things, however, that we don't yet know and that I would love to see in the iPhone.

I have so many posts about iPhoto in my "saved drafts" area that I figured it is time to get rid of one. This one deals with sharing photos in iPhoto - something that is a fairly painful process still.

I saw that someone was having a little trouble using Automator for what seemed like a relatively simple task.

There has been some chitty-chat on the Internets about iPhoto having a hidden feature that allows you to Geotag your photos.
Google and Apple collaborating?Source: CNET
A posting in a forum for enthusiasts of Intel-based Macs suggests that Apple Computer and Google are collaborating on technology in secret.
Apple may add Google integration to iPhotoSource: Apple Insider
Some poking and prying through the software resources of Apple Computer's latest iPhoto update has turned up evidence that company may soon offer users a new feature tie-in with Google's map services.

Flickr and iPhoto PhotocastsSource: thinkmac.net
Do you use iPhoto? Did you know you can subscribe to pictures from Flickr, just like you can with podcasts on iTunes?
Pik - iPhoto for documentsSource: piknow.com
This app claims to organize all of the documents on you Mac just like iPhoto does for pictures. Right now it is a free download (come September it will be $49) so now is a good time to check it out.
Google Picasa Web Albums Adds Mac SupportSource: Google
Google has announced tools to allow Mac users to upload from iPhoto or the Finder to Picasa Web Albums. (Picasa itself remains a Windows-only application, however, although a Linux version available for testing.)

Personally, I find iPhoto's design superb. Almost perfect. Especially the way to rotate images using the sliders and the super-imposed grid. But there are little things here and there that I would change.

I love taking photos. I love using iPhoto to manage my collection of over 7000 images. I love sharing some of those images with my friends and the world on Flickr. The thing that makes my photo sharing life easy is the FlickrExport plugin for iPhoto.
Fluxiom Launches!Source:
A few users around the net have heard of Fluxiom. It is an ajax web application for managing files, very apple-y. It has an interface similar to iPhoto, but can handle many more photos. This is what the world needs.
iPhoto keywords don't work in Spotlight searchesSource: theubergeeks.net
On Mac OS X, if you have iPhoto 6 and re-index your drive for Spotlight you won't be able to search any of your photos. This is a serious problem since the only way to search your photos is through iPhoto, completely rendering Spotlight useless for photos searches.

It's here. ILife '06. Just $79. But be careful before you upgrade. If you plan on burning DVDs with iDVD '06, you may very well find yourself with an expensive silent movie maker.
