Danny had loaned his family's gun to a still scared Julie, who was released from the hospital after her assault. When Julie heard someone creeping around outside, she grabbed the gun and handed it off to her terrified mother, Susan, who fired. Turns out it was Katherine, who was wounded in the shoulder. A panicked Angie feared that Katherine would call the police, who would trace the gun and learn that it was registered under the Bolen family's real name, so she did some fast talking and convinced Katherine that she'd look better to Mike if she took the high road and didn't get Susan in any trouble. The show this week revolved around the discovery of Julie Meyer, who was strangled and left for dead at the end of last week's episode. Various "Housewives" and their pals were going about their business when Karen McCluskey and boyfriend Roy discovered Julie unconscious on the lawn. But at the hospital, Lynette confessed to Susan and the doctors that Julie might be pregnant. Tests later proved that she wasn't, but Susan couldn't understand why Lynette had kept such an enormous secret from her. Lynette finally admitted that she herself is pregnant, and that's why Julie felt she could talk to her about it, then confessed she's thinking of not having the babies. (The word "abortion" is never said, but you get the idea.) But when Susan tells her that all she wants in the world is one more day as Julie's mom, Lynette decides that she can go through the whole motherhood rodeo again.
