SUPERBOWL - After 17 weeks of the regular season and three weeks of playoff football, lots of reflections, observations, and predictions can be made - I only need to make one more.

The Chicago Bears have failed to extend Head Coach Lovie Smith's contract after a few other teams gave their respective coaches extensions. There are talks that Mr. Smith will be out the door when his contract expires after the 2008 season.

The remaining coaches in the NFL Playoffs have got to be one of the greatest collections ever.
