Jess Alan Skousen was arrested at his Mesa accounting business Wednesday for allegedly having illegal child pornography on his laptop computer.
All of the electronic records that are within the business will most likely be subject to review.

Today, February 12, 2008, the McKellips Street crossing was closed in Mesa. The water was released Tuesday, and it took several days to get here. The pictures here were taken at the McKellips Street crossing.

As a long time Mesa resident, I have looked forward to the opening of the Lite Rail since it's inception. In my younger days, I had used the local bus system to try to get me where I was going.

Instead I will just write about the storm.

Okay, so it was just a Tuesday.
"What's a Tuesday?" asked Pooh.
"It just is".

The desert is a unique place to live, and there is much to learn from it, in our own backyards.

So.. yesterday started out like all of the other days... hot, sticky, teasing.......
Then something happened. A storm, a BIG storm, moved into the valley and stayed.
We ended up with over 3 inches of rain in Mesa, I would say more then that at our house.
