It's been a week or so since AllofMp3.com died. The sucessor in interest, MP3Sparks.com appears to also be gone. Has the RIAA killed the Russian online music business? Not hardly. They are hacking heads off a hydra. Each time they kill one, two more appear.

Russian authorities last week put the final nail in the coffin of AllofMP3.com, the thorn in the side of United States and UK music industry groups that have attempted to shut it down for years.

Before the shutdown AllOfMP3 had nearly 6 million users who were able to download songs and albums for a fraction of the price from authorized alternatives such as the iTunes Store. MP3s were sold for $0.20 per song, or less.
