
I have been watching the various new channels coverage of the inaugeration. Fox did what was to me a surprisingly neutral to actually excited coverage yesterday. Then Bill O'Reilly really tried to keep his smirks and sarcasm to a minimum but couldn't entirely get rid of it.

I for one am very tired of the bickering about whether or not President Elect Obama is, was, should be, won't be, can be a "REAL citizen. Such attempts at this point in the election process, are a waste of energy and time.

As George W. Bush sits in the Oval Office, perhaps the lamest of all lame ducks, Barack Obama is looking presidential for the press, fielding calls from world leaders and mulling appointments to his new cabinet.

Obama will most likely get to appoint one or more Supreme Court justices. I think an excellent choice would be Hillary Clinton. The Court needs more women and she is eminently qualified.

The nature of this story intrigued me. Obama was not my first choice but I certainly will vote for him over McCain. I think that at best McCain can do a mediocre job, and at worst a continuation of the present administration.
