We could have had an epic story line or two going into the NFL playoffs, if only the Colts and Saints cared as much about our narrative as they do about their season.

Rosenthal: Cowboys close strong, but aren’t satisfied

In seven years, Peyton Manning will be 40 years old, and you can make book right now that you won’t find him playing for any team other than the Colts. Nor will he be retiring then un-retiring then retiring again. And he will never fight with his coach over anything, whether it’s playing time or a pizza order.

Colts dilemma: Go for 16-0?

Belichick Was Right

I enjoy a national shanking of Bill Belichick as much as anyone, but I'm with Neon here: Belichick, who has won three Super Bowls treating football the way an actuary treats a term life policy, made the smart call yesterday. Hmmm.
