Bethesda sends word today that its new downloadable content pack Fighter's Stronghold for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be available on PC and Xbox 360 for free for one week, beginning October 15th.

Industry news site, Gamasutra, is reporting that recent SEC filings indicate the purchase of the Fallout license by Bethesda Softworks. Bethesda is currently developing Fallout 3, the latest entry in the fan-favorite RPG game.
