Cartooncat is special guest on a radio News QuizSource: allthingsgerman.net
This week I was invited to be the special guest on a radio news quiz about this week's news in Germany. The Quiz is available as a podcast... so if anyone wants to listen and find out whether I won the t-shirt.... do get yourselves a mug of cocoa and put your feet up.

I am a big Podcast fan and typically listen to them about 2-3 hours a day. I use my NET (No Extra Time) periods when I am working out, doing my email, or driving. It keeps me up to date and I like getting a good understanding of smart people.
Autopsy: Steven Cohen and the Ad Boycott That Ended His CareerSource: BNET Advertising Blog
Regardless, it was not threats that pushed Cohen off the air. It was the loss of his advertiser base. Had brands such as Heineken merely shrugged at what Cohen was saying, the emails he received would have made no difference. But the advertisers sided with the fans.

European Journalism Centre is hosting blogging competitions. Last one was about the European Parliament elections earlier this year and the next one will be about the climate change summit in Copenhagen the coming December. Bookmark the blog and podcast feeds already today.

This week was a bit of an experiment, and though it ended up being a fairly chaotic recording, it was still quite entertaining (I think at least).
