There's no bonding experience quite like having your kids in the kitchen with you. And there are many recipes Kids can do on their own or with little adult supervision. Get them started Young!

Casseroles - the All American Favorite

We're still a little light on the Pasta entries, but I want to move along, so let start with the star of the dinner. Whether you prefer beef, duck or lobster, this is the place to tell us how you like it done.

Oh, we're really moving along here. Some of you are obviously cooks way out of my league and I appreciate your input. Today we will address the million dollar question - what do I serve with that? Side dishes in my family come in two varieties - pasta or potatoes.

Personally, I think that there is nothing better in the fall or winter than a nice hot pot of soup or stew.

As some of you know, our group is going to try and do an ebook for Charity - a Food Bank, more than likely. Each day (or maybe every couple of days) we will take one chapter,.

Do you of you out there think it might be an idea for us to put together a book of our favorite recipes and sell it on line with proceeds going to Charity? I've seen some killer recipes from lots of you and it would be a way to give back to those less fortunate.

It may be argued that pizza is the most perfect food. Some say soup. For nutritional value, many argue it is salad. For myself, I say that nothing can make me wax poetic like the Mac Daddy of all foods - the Sandwich!

Is it selfish to bake yourself a single-serving microwave mug cake? Well, maybe -- but being "selfish" is not necessarily a bad thing, is it? There are so many reasons to bake a microwave mug cake that you can easily defend sneaking in a snack when others aren't around.
