"A disruptive influence", "hopeless" and even "this child will amount to nothing" were among the more withering comments regularly hurled at sub-standard pupils.

One of the problems with American elections and our politicians in general, is that much of what they claim about themselves sounds pretty good. The soundbites and speeches are filled with Patriotic themes and values that are hard to argue with.
