DIRECTOR Robert Rodriguez seems to veer quite happily from splatter violence to children's movies, as in his Spy Kids films.
That's not as strange as it may first seem, when you consider that even his "adult" films have an adolescent feel.

These days Hollywood generally makes awful movies for far too much money, but it does occasionally come up with something truly wonderful. Sin City was one of those moments, and its director was Robert Rodriguez.

You know, news reports would have you believe that this movie was a failure and did not live up to the studios expectations. While it may not have, they needed to take a closer look at what they were offering up here and realize that they landed pretty much where they deserved.

Grindhouse has been put on hold by the UK distributors. Despite having a June 1st release it seems that Momentum have held the film pending a review of release dates and the plans for the release.
Could this mean we'll see the film split in two?
