Per a new CNN/Opinion Research poll, 69% of Americans do not want the Supreme Court to overrule Roe v. Wade. That result comes as other recent polls have suggested that more Americans are pro-life rather than pro-choice on the contentious issue of abortion.

Some persons are already speculating that President Obama will select a woman or a Hispanic or perhaps even a Hispanic woman to replace the retiring United States Supreme Court Justice David Souter. If such a person is the best qualified candidate, I support it.
