With the cast list seemingly falling apart in public and the studio apparently forcing actors out due to low pay, is Iron Man 2 becoming the movie that'll end Marvel's run of movie successes?

Lakeview Terrace has topped the box office this weekend. Personally, I'm a huge fan of Samuel L. Jackson. Good for him that he keeps making movies people keep wanting to go see.

Hollywood woke up this morning to the news that actor-comedian Bernie Mac has passed away due to complications from pneumonia. He was 50.
As word spreads, tributes are pouring in from the funnyman's friends and colleagues.

I was driving home this evening listening to one of my favorite bands, Cobra Starship, and they have a song called 'Snakes on a Plane.' It was on the soundtrack for the major motion picture, which is the focus of this particular nights edition of 'Brent's Mind.'

Brad Bird's "The Incredibles" is one of the best family movies of the decade. Often when movies are pegged as "family" it simply means that they lack offensive content and are geared towards children and tolerable for adults.

It is not often that you can find truth in movie advertising. You get misleading trailers, overblown claims and a lot of hype .. a whole lot of it. Jumper is to be commended for delivering what it promised it will with the trailers.

The Phoenix PD responded to a call that there was a snake in a movie theater in north Phoenix. The theater -- you knew it was coming -- happened to be showing "Snakes on a Plane."

I have to say, I've been looking forward to this movie for months, so I may be a little biased. I won't even get into the various office pools I've started with regards to how well it will do at the Box Office. Or that I own a SoaP wristband and t-shirt.

On August 18, the movie many have been anxiously awaiting "Snakes on a Plane" will be released. When I first heard the title I thought it sounded like a winner. Then I heard Samuel L Jackson was in the cast and I knew it was bound to kick ass.
