THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - Graeme McDowell shot a 6-under 66 to move to 10-under par overall, taking a share of the lead with Y.E. Yang who shot 1-under to stay atop the leaderboard at the Chevron World Challenge at the Sherwood Country Club Saturday. Yang entered the day with a two-shot lead.
Jim Furyk had a lot of expectations when he arrived at the Chevron World Challenge. They didn't include winning for the first time in more than two years.
Tiger Woods is a gracious tournament host, at least until the tournament gets started. Woods continued to show midseason form at the end of the year with a 10-under 62 on Friday, setting the course record at Sherwood Country Club and building a four-shot lead over Jim Furyk in the Target World Challenge.
His name is Connery. Sean Connery. And it's a name no longer associated with the Sherwood Country Club.
