We have had really nice weather this week and I was able to get a sunset picture almost every evening. The temperature has been really nice, the high has been in the 70's almost each day with very few clouds. Only one of the reasons I love living here in southwest Missouri.

I was driving back from the beach at about 5:30 this evening whenall of a sudden I felt a bit sadden, or was it happyness, yeah that's what it was.

Today's offering for Good News Wednesday is just a few pictures I have taken recently while strolling around. We have had tons of cloudy days with a bunch of rain so my walks have been curtailed some. Because of all the rain, the colors of Fall are slow to come in my little world.

A few chrysanthemums for your viewing pleasure. I just love the splash of color they provide.

This sunset was taken near Daytona, Florida, with the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse centered in the background. Photographed in 2002 using a Canon Photura 135, which was a great little viewfinder camera that I still keep around as a backup camera.

Mama and I were watering what is left of our garden, when I looked up and saw this wonderful sunset. I don't have that great of a digital camera but I did my best to capture the scene. I got my ladder and got up on top of the house to get this shot.

It's been quite a while since I last posted a sunset. Whether is grey and rainy in Ohio, today, with no chance of a real one. Here's one from a few weeks back. Enjoy!

I've been trying to get a little more active of late by walking around the neighborhood. Seems as though there is always something to capture in a photo everywhere I go.

Well it's time for another pictorial update of my front porch plants. These tomatoes and green beans have only been in the pots for a little over one month! I now have tons of little green tomatoes and even more yellow flowers that will soon turn into tomatoes.

Thanks to a whole lot of rain my front porch plants are growing like gangbusters! I was only able to get these planted in the last month because it was just too cool to get them started.

Hi to all~ Just a quick photo or two (or more) on some of the beautiful lighting this time of year.
This was shot in Pismo Beach by the campgrounds access path; the pier is North-ish about half mile.

Words cannot convey the feeling of being surrounded by a vista such as this.
