Well kids, summer vacation is coming to a close, and that means that my second wave of summer movie reviews is long overdue. However, if you are a movie procrastinator, you are in luck.

Today I saw the first of this summers two biggest blockbusters: Superman Returns.

I touched on this in a previous article, but saw a couple of news stories today that I wanted to touch on, in regards to this attacking of the Superman movie and character.

So the bad press has begun with the box office results for Superman. It's day one and since it didn't break every box office record, it's obviously on its way to failure.

Just saw Superman Returns at IMAX 3D. Let me say that whether you are a fan of superhero movies, or adventure movies, you should go see it. If you have IMAX 3D in your area, drop everything you are doing - including reading this review, and see it now.

It appears that Bryan Singer is just too exhausted after Superman Returns to think about heading into Logan's Run. He had been doing preliminary work on it while working on Superman, but he just wants some time to relax.
