Like any other country, Japan has it's own unique set of beliefs, superstitions and unusual habits. Some concern themselves with numerology, some relate to death, and some simply defy any logical link to anything whatsoever.

Of all the animals that roamed the earth, cats perhaps form the species associated with the most exotic, regal and most number of myths and superstitions.

I personally don't fully believe in them at all. The way i feel about them are at some point in time someone or a group of people had something happen to them and it was just pasted on through time whether being lucky or bad luck.
