A four-year-old girl died after her father accidentally dropped a television on her head as he carried it downstairs, an inquest heard.

Some disturbing news from Chattanooga police about the death of a 15-month-old boy left in a sweltering car. Officers said the boy set off a motion detector alarm several times before the father charged in the death turned the alarm off remotely from his nearby office.
