If you're of a certain age, there's no doubt you remember the 1979–1986 CBS medical drama Trapper John, M.D., a spinoff of the Robert Altman film MASH starring Pernell Roberts as the title character and a young Gregory Harrison as his colleague, Dr.

Ahh, the simplicity. Despite the obvious parallels in this week's episode of House, the simple, 2 mystery story line was refreshingly reminiscent of the earlier seasons of House.

I have been noticing lately that some shows are easier to recap and review than others. I thought recapping Heroes would be tough but I think I got the hang of it quick and will resume that when the series comes back on in a few months,

First, thanks to Vacelts for subbing for me as House recapper for the first two episodes of this season. Links are at the bottom of this article. I fell behind because of my cruise and week off Newsvine.

I will let Vacelts and Dr. Know take care of recapping and reviewing the totality of the show. I, though, will focus
on the language of Randy.

Each time I watch an episode of this show I see something else that annoys me. I collected some of them before here
Here are five rules for a proposed drinking game. You drink…
1)Each time Randy says "man" or "dawg" you drink a shot.

This is my first season watching American Idol and I have been alternately entertained, dismayed and frustrated by what I have seen. What has made it worthwhile, though, was reading the recaps and commentary Vacelts and Dr.

We get a recap of the best(?) and worst of the rest.

The second night started with the shameless self promotion. They claimed that first Idol, Kelly Clarkson, was 'instant' star, It took a bit longer than an instant. They had the first birth of a contestant while waiting in line.

A few weeks ago I started a group, TV Guide, to cover tv shows. My focus has been on covering the tv writers strike and how it's affecting programming. Thus most of the stories so far have been about the late night talk shows.
