President-elect Barack Obama wants to conclude his inaugural oath with the words "so help me God," but a group of atheists is asking a federal judge to stop him.

Apparently the words "Under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance "drives 'Liberals' crazy. Interesting. As a democrat and Christian, I personally have no issues with the phrase "one nation, under God".

School backs down from pledge policy

A Pennsylvania high school has now decided to allow a student to abstain from standing during the pledge without a letter from his parents. He argued, with the ACLU's support, that such a policy violated his right to free speech.
