It turns out that the recession is not bad for all businesses. According to Amber Rogers from the Acme Safe Company LLC in New York, “business is good.” With all the financial turmoil, many people are keeping their money out of the stock market and even their bank. Now personally, I do trust in the financial strength of sound banks and those deposits insured by the FDIC. In fact, in the 75-year history of the FDIC, no one with an insured deposit ever lost their money. But these are trying times, and some just want to be in more control of their finances.
