Looking back at the election and events that happened simultaneously with it, it took me a while to collect all my thoughts over the big picture and all of the implications. And I am no professional pundit.

Well, there you go. In January, Bush is out and Obama is in. The executive branch is about to undergo as radical an ideological shift as it's capable of sustaining - if the hype is to be believed. Ok, I'll play that game.

First off I would like to say congratulations to our next president. What a historic achievement this truly is. Even though I am young, I as well as many Americans never could have imagined in our life times that this country would ever have been capable of such a historic event.

Well Senator, you did it. Honestly, it was probably inevitable. You were an amazingly charismatic African-American senator who picked the right campaign theme in the right year. You trounced McCain. I'll admit it. You won, and you won handily. With style. Good for you.
