— On Saturday, April 21st, Fabricio Werdum, one of the top-ranked heavyweight MMA fighters in the world, will make his UFC debut against UFC heavyweight champion, Andrei Arlovski at UFC 70: Nations Collide. The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialist holds a record of 9-2-1 with two (T)KO's and five submission victories. Fabricio took some time to talk to us at BuddyTV about tomorrow's fight and what we can expect to see from him once he steps foot inside the cage.

Fabricio Werdum: Confident in my abilities.
What do you feel Arlovski's weaknesses are and how do you plan to exploit them?
Arlovski feels he has no weaknesses, we will see.
What have you been training on specifically getting ready for Arlovski?
Nothing specific. Working hard on my stand up and ground game
Does Arlovski's strong striking ability pose any threat to you?
I have been in with other big hitters yet i have never been KO'd.
Have you brought in anybody special to train with in preparation for Arlovski?
Just a couple of strong sparring partners from Spain and Croatia.
Talk a little bit about the fight against Alexander Emelianenko. What have
you come away with from that fight?
That my Jiu-Jitsu was in top form that night.
Have you been following the happenings of the UFC organization since you have been with Pride? What do you think about the overall UFC Heavyweight division?
There was a feeling Pride had the strongest HW (Heavyweight) division, but that
is changing with Mirko, Minotauro and myself and others now at UFC
Since you're debuting in the UFC Heavyweight division, how do you feel you will be accepted and placed?
At the moment I am still an unknown quantity in UFC. But keep
watching, that will change.
Who are some fighters Heavyweights that you would like to face in the division?
I am in UFC to win the belt, whoever they put in the cage I will fight.
What got you into MMA?
MMA is the fastest growing sport in the world. And as a fighter it
is the ultimate test.
Who are some of your heroes in and out of the UFC and Pride?
What can fans expect when you enter the UFC cage?
THEY CAN EXPECT A GREAT FIGHT AND 100% FROM ME...
