— Len says last night's Dancing with the Stars was the best semi-finals he's ever seen on this or in the UK. The judges choose Joey & Kym 's jive for the encore dance. Tom plugs Len's new Dancing with Len Goodman DVD.
Tom plugs the Dancing with the Stars live tour but doesn't mention Joey's going on it. Joey & Kym say they're okay if they don't make it to the finals, as all the eliminated couples will be back next week anyway for the reunion finale. Apolo says the crowd's cheers made his night.
The audience reactions are all over the place as usual, with many criticizing Len for being to harsh (also as usual) and no one agreeing on anything except that it's going to be a close race.
The first couple announced as safe is Joey & Kym. This means whoever's going home tonight's never been in the bottom two before.
Joaquín Cortés performs a flamenco dance.
Samantha talks to Ian, Laila, and Apolo. Ian says "it's anybody's ball game" tonight. Laila is pretty confident, but "we just don't know" about the viewer votes. Apolo says he's come a long way, and really wants to go to the finals to do the freestyle dance, but has been having fun so far, at least.
Dance Along at Home with Jimmy Kimmel & Guillermo. Everybody at Jimmy Kimmel's office can't stop dancing, except the accountant.
Enrique Iglesias returns and plugs his new album. Also, sings.
Len, Carrie Ann, and Bruno discuss the final four, comparing the athletes to the entertainers. The athletes have an advantage in training, but the entertainers know hwo to engage the audience. The athletes have game face, but the entertainers are used to the makeup and bright lights. Etcetera. Len says the winner will have to fuse all the needed qualities from each world.
Tom Bergeron points out that Extreme Home Makeover's Paige Hemmis and Michael Moloney are in the audience.
Ian says he can "almost taste it," the Dancing with the Stars finals are so close. Apolo wants it even more now. Laila thinks everyone has a chance. The stars all discuss each other's chances: Everyone agrees that Ian has earned his position by working hard. Laila says she's not discounting Joey's chances, and Apolo says you can really see Joey's experience. Laila still thinks she herself deserves it, and Apolo agrees as "she works it." Joey knows Laila gives it her all, and Ian says Laila's the one to keep an eye on. Apolo is Laila's biggest threat, she says, and Joey agrees that Apolo really knows what he's doing.
Apolo says he's "not scared of anybody," as Ian says that we haven't seen his best yet. Laila wants everyone to remember that she's here to win, as if she hasn't made that perfectly clear.
They won't be announcing the bottom two tonight – oh, that means Joey still might've been in the bottom two.
Ian says last night's perfect score was a victory for him, and that it was all due to Cheryl. He didn't think he'd even get this far.
Laila & Maks, Apolo & Julianne, and Joey & Kym are going to the finals next week, where the judges will choose one dance, and the other will be freestyle. Who do you think will win season four of Dancing with the Stars?
